About My News Experience
I bring decades of real-world television news experience to every project I shoot. For many years I worked as a freelance news photographer and videographer for a variety of news organizations, covering everything from fast-moving breaking news to human-interest stories that celebrate everyday life. Before that I spent 15 years shooting nightly news for a CBC affiliate, where I refined my craft in deadline-driven environments and learned the importance of storytelling through strong visuals, clear communication, and reliability.
From crime scenes and political announcements to community celebrations and 103rd birthday parties, I’ve had the privilege of documenting the full spectrum of life in front of the lens. That depth of experience means I know how to work quickly, professionally, and respectfully in any situation — capturing the story as it unfolds while ensuring high-quality, broadcast-ready results.
